US-CO-Longmont-Electrical Engineering Project Manager-Direct Hire

A-1 Careers is looking for an experienced Engineer with the skills listed below that has hands on experience in the Mail Order and Fulfillment Automation including robotic material handling, robotic guidance systems, 2D/3D vision systems, hi-speed packaging and material handling and process and quality engineering and management.

Key management position – reports to VP/GM

• Manage team of engineers (staff and contract) in the development of designs and programs for automation projects involving robotics and PLC Programming.
• Drive new technology development
• Program PLC’s
• Establish and maintain EE guidelines
• EE degree
• Customer interaction
• Salary – DOE - $65k to $95k

Must be hands-on Electrical Engineering Manager, managing all the Electrical Engineers.  Will do hands on work such as programming PLC’s, etc…

• Manage team of 8-10 technicians in the build and test of automation systems including robotics and PLC’s
• Manage multiple projects at once
• Provide design criteria for system level requirements
• Key interface between mechanical and electrical engineering
• Engineering degree, strong systems background
• Customer interaction
• Salary – DOE - $65k to $95k

Must have hands-on experience in building automated design systems including robotic design and control. Must have EE or ME degree, with relevant background. Will develop functional specs. Managing the build and assembly process, must have detailed knowledge and background pertaining to the above activities.
