US-CO-Longmont-Customer Service Specialist-Direct Hire

New opening in the Longmont area with a medical manufacturing company for a Customer Service Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Takes customer calls, handles routine product inquires, enters sales orders, and provides information about availability, estimated ship date, etc.
  • Assures adherence to Company terms of sales, policies with respect to discount authority, and the granting of credit.
  • Assists with Clinical Solutions study deployments, site maintenance, and site closures.
  • Works with the sales team in developing quotations that are in accordance with our marketing standards, discount authority, and terms and conditions.
  • Handles all interactions with the Customer in a courteous, helpful, and professional.
  • Interacts with other members of Finance to assure efficient operations throughout the quote- to-cash cycle. Processes credit cards online as requested/required.
  • Coordinates with Manufacturing as to the availability of Product.
  • Makes calls to customers with expiring service contracts.

Additional Needs:

  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Three to five years of customer service experience required, preferably with a company whose product line is technical and diverse in nature.
  • Proficiency in word processing and with sophisticated accounting systems required; spreadsheet proficiency highly desirable.

In addition experience with the indicated job responsibilities and the specific skills listed, our client would be interested in evidence of aptitude to understand a somewhat technically complex product line, both to answer some basic inquiries from customers, but also be able to guide our field sales reps through the quotation process for our capital goods. (Knowing, for example, minimum configuration requirements versus options, and being able to understand functionality so the potential customer is quoted the equipment that will really meet his/her needs.)

Pay is 30k-40k DOE
